Our History
1992
Zetabid Co-founders Ross Dove and Hal Ellis (“Grubb & Ellis”) conduct the largest real estate auctions ever completed at the time linking international bidders via satellite to sell over $470M in commercial real estate in two days for the FDIC (Resolution Trust Corp). Over $1B is sold in the 1990s.
2010
Tribune sells stake to Sorrento Capital where Zetabid pioneered the short sale auction and pre-approved short sale processes adopted by most mortgage servicers (HAFA Program). Zetabid works over 50,000 short sale cases in two years.
Zetabid software and some IP assets sold to Altisource (NYSE: ASPS) in 2012.
2015
Tallstone Capital Advisors and original co-founder Michael Davin buys Zetabid brand from Sorrento Capital to offer more powerful real estate marketing tools for real property owners
Zetabid forms Alliance with Heritage Global to create Heritage Zetabid Realty and Auction Services to conduct commercial real estate auction events
